College of Liberal Arts

A hub for language support, CLA’s Language Center includes a myriad of services for those who are studying ASL, Chinese, Filipino, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. 
The Communications Tutoring Center provides free academic and mentoring support for all ºÚÁÏÍø communications classes including upper division, lower division, core, and elective courses. 
Make an appointment with the History Writing Tutoring Center today for help with thesis statements and advice on paper organization for ANY history class. 
A gathering space for psychology students to study, work, and receive guidance from knowledgeable Graduate and Instructional Student Assistants.

 

College of Mathematics and Natural Sciences

Join the Jensen SAS Center’s Zoom Room or stop by in-person for help, support, and preparation in math or science.
Lindgren Math Tutoring Center The Lindgren Math Tutoring Center offers free tutoring in mathematics, statistics, and math education courses to ºÚÁÏÍø students only during the Fall and Spring semesters. 
The SAS Peer Mentor program offers free tutoring services for all CNSM students in a variety of lower and upper division courses. Schedule an in-person or Zoom session!

Engineering Tutoring A free peer tutoring service that includes highly engaging, one-on-one sessions for undergraduate engineering students in the Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Software Programs, and Computer Science fields. 
Writing and Communications Tutoring for Engineering Students A writing and resource center that offers workshops and tutoring sessions for engineering students looking to develop their technical writing and oral communication skills.

Bob Murphy Access Center (BMAC) BMAC provides many services for students with disabilities at The Beach to facilitate degree achievement and instill career readiness after graduation. 
Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) EOP is committed to serving first-generation, historically low-income students by providing access and equity to higher education. Email a counselor with your questions today! 
Bickerstaff Academic Center for Student-Athlete Services This center provides a plethora of academic services to ºÚÁÏÍø’s student-athlete population. 
Beach Academic Resource Center (BARC) A resource for students who are members of the Beach Academy, the Beach Transfer Transition Center (BTTC), or the GenExcel program.
College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) Curated for first-year undergraduate migratory or seasonal farm working students (or children of farmworkers). Services include academic advising, stipends, health services, and more. 
Guardian Scholars A program offering current/former foster youth academic counseling, financial aid advising, mentorship, skills assessment, and more. 
Mentoring, Advising, and Placement Support Program (MAPS) MAPS offers mentoring and placement services to Beach Academy and first-year students who are required to complete Mathematics with support, Written Communication, and/or American Language Institute courses. 
TRiO Student Support Services Program A federally funded program designed to assist students who are low-income, first-generation to college, or have a disability. 
McNair Scholars Program McNair Advising provides a myriad of tutoring, counseling, and research opportunities for underrepresented undergraduate students in pursuit of doctoral studies. 
University Honors ºÚÁÏÍø’s official University Honor’s Program offers members personalized advising to ensure successful navigation of the University curriculum and timely graduation.  
Veteran Services This informational center assists veterans with application inquiries and facilitates their educational journey.  
Academic Standing A center for students who are on academic warning to explore strategies to return to a good standing.
