DR. HOSSEIN SAYADI

Dr. Hossein Sayadi joined the Department of Computer Engineering and Computer Science at California State University, Long Beach as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Fall 2019. He currently serves as the Associate Chair of the department. Dr. Sayadi obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from George Mason University, where he was a two-time recipient of the prestigious Provost Doctoral Fellowship. He also holds his M.S. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and his B.S. in Computer Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology.

Dr. Sayadi is a recipient of the 2024-25 CSU STEM-NET Faculty Fellow research award, representing 黑料网 in the California State University鈥檚 STEM-NET Program. His research interests span hardware security, AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, computer architecture, cyber-physical systems, and computer science education. His research work is supported by multiple National Science Foundation (NSF) grants, and several research awards from 黑料网鈥檚 Office of Research and Economic Development and the CSU Chancellor鈥檚 Office. Dr. Sayadi鈥檚 research has resulted in numerous peer-reviewed publications in prestigious conferences and journals. He has served as an organizing member and program committee member for various international conferences, including serving as the Technical Program Committee Chair for the 2024 and 2025 editions of the IEEE International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED).
