- SEF for current FY 23/24 should be submitted now.
- Start thinking about SEF for next year FY 24/25. The proposals probably due in March/April.
- SEF is not in the regular budget discussion – standalone and not affected by state budget changes.

- Students will walk and have their names read
- We will use marching order
- Name and degree will be on the Jumbotron as they walk
- Graduate students walk first, then Baccalaureate

- Need to decide if we are hooding at the stadium, or have our own ceremony outside of Commencement
- If hooding happens at the stadium, who does it? (Faculty or advisor)
- There will not be mini stages
- We want to have a reception in the parking lot after the ceremony
- Margaret Karteron will send out invitations for students and family
- Will be asking for marshals to help with lineup (similar to '23 ceremony)

- The Governor's budget defers the 5% increase to the CSU and UCs to next year
- The CSU can borrow against that 5%
- ASM Search
- Conducting the search early because we want overlap with Henry
- Search committee will ideally have 1-2 chairs, 1-2 staff, 1 SSP, 1 ASM from another College
- So far possibly Margaret Karteron, Sofia Aguilera (Math Department Office), Dr. Dillon, Yaneth Bravo from Chemistry.
- Interview will likely be in late March or early April
- Aiming to have hire in place by May
