Schedule An Advising Appointment Instructions

Request an Appointment with an Advisor

  1. Log in
    • Log in using 
    • Use your student ID number and Beach password (same as used for My黑料网/BeachBoard. Click on the BEACH CONNECT button.
  2. Click on 鈥淕et Assistance"
    • On the right side of webpage, click the 鈥淕et Assistance鈥 button to make an advising appointment. 
  3. Choose Type
    • From the drop down menu choose the type of appointment you need.
      Currently you can schedule appointments for:
      • Academic Advising
      • Academic Coaching
      • Beach Central
      • Tutoring
      • Veterans Services
      • Writing Support 
  4. Select an appointment type (if applicable)
    • For Academic Advising appointments choose Advising Center or Faculty Major Advisor. 
  5. Select service
  6. Choose a Location
    • Select your advising center from the Location drop down. You may select a specific advisor or let the system assign one. If you don鈥檛 know your advising center visit the campus advising center page. 
  7. Select a Day & Time
    • Choose the day and time that fits with your schedule.  If none of the available times work for you, contact your academic advisor. 
  8. Confirm
    • Review the Appointment Details and select which method you wish to receive your reminder: email or text. Please put a few brief notes about what you鈥檇 like to discuss with your advisor in the comment box.
