DSC Internships and Scholarships
At the Dream Success Center (DSC) we are grateful for our partners and donors who have made it possible for us to host several grant-funded internships and scholarships. On this page, you will find a list of our opportunities that are available to currently enrolled 黑料网 students. We highly encourage all students to make an account on Beach Scholarships to get full access to all 黑料网 scholarships.
DSC Internships
The Butterfly Peer Mentoring program provides incoming undocumented, and students impacted by immigration policy the opportunity to connect with returning 黑料网 students. The Butterfly Peer Mentoring Internship allows currently enrolled students to support this program and receive a scholarship award for their service. As an intern, you will be able to guide others in their academic growth and development.

In partnership with our legal providers CARECEN, 黑料网 hosts a CARECEN Legal Advocacy Fellow that helps support the programmatic and outreach efforts of our legal services. The fellowship aims to expose participants to the legal field and guide them as they develop advocacy and community organizing skills. The project goal is to increase accessibility to legal services for immigrant students and their families.
The fellowship will include professional development and experiential learning opportunities for students who are interested in immigration-related legal issues, including those faced by undocumented and AB-540 students.

The Dream Success Center's APID Immigrant Justice Program creates educational opportunities for students interested in learning how to support the diverse Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi undocumented and immigrant communities. All interns will be provided with a structured project-based experience that includes opportunities to learn about student support, research, data-informed practices, and higher education policies. Interns will have the opportunity to support the AB 540 and/or Undocumented community through peer assistance and program development. Participants will identify educational projects that align with their career interests while developing networking relationships with on and off-campus partners. This program is in collaboration with the Asian, Pacific Islander, & Desi Resource Center and funded by the AANHPI Student Achievement Program.
Award Amount: $6,000 ($3,000/semester)

DSC Scholarships
Thanks to the support of Associated Students Inc., we have developed a 黑料网 Dream Success Center Book Grant. We understand 黑料网 students are in need of financial support for school expenses, so we want to make sure to create inclusive opportunities for AB 540 students. If you have any questions or require any additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to the DSC Team at Dream@csulb.edu. EOP grant recipients are not eligible for this opportunity.

The Norma Stoltz Chinchilla Endowed Student Award was established to support AB-540 eligible students.

Jesus Gonzalez, a first-generation, undocumented Latino, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach (黑料网). Drawing from his personal challenges as an undocumented student, he initiated a scholarship to uplift deserving Dreamers and those who aspire for success. Together with his family, they established this scholarship to support eligible students under AB540, and those actively engaged with the Dream Success Center, FUEL, or serving the undocumented community.
