Students may enroll in the Transfer Success Pathway program between August 1 and October 31, 2025. Access the application online via .

How to Apply:

  1. Apply using the Transfer Planner: Students can view all CSU TSP agreements through the Transfer Planner (), by selecting a major of their choice. Please note that not all majors are available, and once a major is selected, it cannot be changed. See a list of current ºÚÁÏÍø majors available below.
  2. Students will log their community college coursework into the Transfer Planner to track their progress towards completing the CSU transfer requirements. It's important that students accurately enter their coursework and progress towards degree requirements to ensure they remain on track. This will also make the application process easier when TSP students are ready to submit their CSU application, as the Transfer Planner will directly transfer all coursework into Cal State Apply. Students will need to submit a formal application via Cal State Apply when they are ready to transfer. We will be able to view students’ progress as they upload their information and will follow up with them regarding their continued interest in the program.
  3. Students must complete the Golden four along with the MSDR or an approved ADT for their major. For major GPA requirements, students are required to meet the required GPA standard in effect at the time they enrolled in TSP, regardless of any subsequent changes made by the university.
  4. Students are required to meet the required GPA standard in effect at the time they enrolled in TSP, regardless of any subsequent changes made by the university.
  5. Students are guaranteed admission to ºÚÁÏÍø and their TSP major if all requirements are completed within three years. The TSP major must match the major selected on the student’s CSU application.
  6. If eligible at the time of application, TSP students will be coded accordingly. As their application is reviewed, they will be guaranteed admission provided all requirements are complete.
  7. Students can change their TSP program to another CSU by submitting a release request. This request must be completed within the August 1-September 30 filing period to change TSP agreements.
  8. If a student is no longer eligible for the TSP program, they are not eligible to apply for TSP at a different CSU, but we do recommend still using Transfer Planner as a tool.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Applicants can attend multiple community colleges; however, a student can only apply to one program and have one Transfer Success Pathway agreement.

If a student decides to change to another campus or program in the future, they must submit a request for release and allow time for the campus to review. Students can request to cancel their agreement at any time. However, the ability to select another campus or major is only during the enrollment period between August 1 and October 31, 2025.

If a student requests to be released from their original agreement, they can elect to do an agreement with another campus or program provided it is within the filing period for an agreement. If a student is deemed to be ineligible for the Transfer Success Pathway program by any campus, they will not be able to enter into any agreement with any other CSU campus and those students will not be able to utilize CSU Transfer Planner.

Once a student has entered into an agreement for one of ºÚÁÏÍø's program, unfortunately the program selection cannot be changed to another ºÚÁÏÍø program.

Please be aware that not every degree program at ºÚÁÏÍø is eligible for the Transfer Success Pathway. If a program you are interested in is not listed in the "Available Degree Programs" section on this page, you are invited to apply through the standard application pathway for transfer students.
