The College of Business (COB) at California State University, Long Beach engages and innovates in ways that positively impact our communities鈥攚ith the university and beyond. Our students add value the minute that they step into their jobs. COB enhances LA-OC economic vitality while helping our graduates build great careers and secure lifestyles for their families and loved ones.

COB continues to renew and invest in faculty. Since 2009, 41 new tenure-track faculty members have joined the COB team from prestigious universities such as Carnegie Mellon, Claremont, London School of Economics, University of California Los Angeles, University of Michigan, and University of Southern California.

COB extends the classroom to equip students with skills employers look for in employees. The Ukleja Center for Ethical Leadership and the Student Center for Professional Development provide ethical training and soft skills that are not addressed in traditional academic programs; SCPD also manages COB鈥檚 internship program. The Center for Student Success improves graduation rates and reduces achievement gaps while Instructional Technology supports classroom and faculty technology needs.

COB graduate programs provide flexibility, convenience, and high value to take careers to the next level. We offer Day, Evening, Saturday, and Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees and Master of Science (MS) degrees in Accountancy, Finance, Information Systems, and Marketing Analytics.

COB is one of 901 business schools in 58 countries out of 16,500 worldwide that is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB). Princeton Review consistently lists COB as one of the nation鈥檚 best business schools while CEO Magazine rates our MBA program as Tier One. NerdWallet ranked COB 12th on its 2015 list of the nation鈥檚 100 best undergraduate business schools, and Money Magazine ranked COB as the 47th best U.S. business school in 2020.
