This resource is meant to be used by educators, school administrators and allies who work closely with and are interested in better supporting undocumented students. Whether you're a long-time champion of undocumented students or a new educator just learning how best to support this population, there will be something useful in this resource for you.
This publication encourages scholarship providers and educators to consider the merits of these hardworking, high-achieving students who are powerful role models in our communities and a college degree will allow them to more fully contribute to U.S. society.
This report sheds light on the range and complexities of undocumented undergraduates experiences based on a sample of 909 participants across 34 states originating in 55 countries including demographic characteristics, experiences in college, as well as aspirations and anxieties. Furthermore, we make specific recommendations for what colleges should consider to better serve this population.
This publication is meant to help students, faculty, staff and administrators at institutions of higher education in California work together across regions and systems to achieve the educational equity and inclusion of undocumented students.
This Toolkit has 36 different examples of what schools, departments, classrooms and school districts across the country are doing with and for undocumented students.

Informed by research and promising practices, the U.S. Department of Education has compiled this Resource Guide to assist and enhance State and local efforts to support undocumented youth at the secondary and postsecondary school levels. The Department hopes that educators, schools, and campuses will, as they see fit, draw upon the tips and examples in this Guide to better support undocumented youth and, ultimately, move us closer to the promise of college and career readiness for all.
