Veterans Services Orientation

During the Veterans Services orientation you will meet our staff, learn about the benefits and services available to you, turn in documents and have the opportunity to ask questions.

The purpose of veteran's services orientation is to become informed about the resources, support services, and benefits to veterans, service members, and eligible dependents students utilizing VA educational benefits at 黑料网.

Veterans Services Make Up Orientation Dates for Fall 2024

Invitations to and links to sign up for orientation have been sent out by email. 

If you will be utilizing VA education benefits, you MUST attend a Veterans Services Orientation. Attendance is crucial to ensure you understand how to maximize your benefits and navigate your educational journey effectively. If you have not received an invitation, please contact our office at 562-985-5115.

We have three remaining virtual make up orientations scheduled, please make sure to attend.

The Veterans Services Orientation will cover the services available to you and answer questions about using your G.I. Bill庐 and Veteran Readiness and Employment benefits at 黑料网. Veterans Services Orientations for Fall 2024 will be held both in-person and virtually via Zoom. 

 If you do not receive the email from Veterans Services via Beach Connect, contact our office immediately.

After logging in to Beach Connect and choosing an orientation session, you will receive a confirmation email verifying the appointment time and details. We look forward to seeing you at the Make Up Orientation! 

*Please do not email documents to our office unless requested, as they will not be reviewed or processed. 

Dependents
If you are not using any benefits, i.e. Ch. 33 Post-9/11 G.I. Bill, Ch. 35 DEA or the CalVet Fee Waiver, attendance is optional but encouraged to make sure you know what resources may be available to you. If you are ONLY using the CalVet Fee Waiver, you do not need to attend the Veterans Services orientation.
